Our technical standards have seen us awarded Grade A accreditation.
West Bake supplies frozen, ambient and long life products, frozen is preferred when there is a need to display a controlled number of products at any one time, keeping the remainder frozen to remain in optimum condition. Long life and ambient products require very little handling and are instantly ready to display.

Andrew Robinson. M.D.
Andrew has a lifetimes experience in the bakery industry, since 1988 he has held various senior management positions in companies including, Irwins Bakery, William Jacksons and Fletchers Bakery has been with West Bake since 2007.
Kevin o' Connor. Director
Kevin has spent all of his working life in the bakery industry. has been involved and owned other successful bakeries, he has been with West Bake since it’s transformation in 2007
Aiden Fanning Director.
Aiden is following a long family tradition, being a third generation baker. For the past 33years has been the Managing Director of Fanning Bros: an engineering company specialising within the bakery industry.
Peadar Shanks. General Manager.
Peadar has spent his whole career in the bakery industry. Since joining West Bake in 2007, he has always striven to maintain West Bake as a major force within the bakery sector. Peadar has worked continuously to implement both innovative management business strategies and introduce lean manufacturing principles
Louise Gibbons. Technical Manager
With over 11 years’ experience in food sector ‘Louise’ has gained Extensive Technical, Quality Assurance, Product Development and Operational knowledge – Key areas of expertise encompass the Development, Implementation, Validation and Verification of Operational, Food Safety & Quality Assurance systems including establishing and maintaining compliance with BRC Global Standards for Food Safety, Bord Bia Quality Assurance Standards, Leading Customer Brand Standards and the appropriate EU Directives.
Jason Finnegan. S.C. Manager
Just like the rest of the management team Jason joined West Bake in 2007. He is a proven problem solver, has extensive technical training and hands on experience in Supply Chain Management and is always willing to discuss individual customer and supplier logistical requirements.
Business Development Manager. Mike Sweeney With over 35years experience in the industry, both in Ireland and the UK, Mike has acquired the skills and ability to assist his clients in optimizing sales and recognising opportunity for development.
